Bean Bag Toss and Horseshoe Set

Hey jammers! Saramo here! Sorry for not posting yesterday and for posting late today. Yesterday I had an eye appointment around 4 and that took until 6 just for the eye doctor to put a drop in my eyes, which dilated them, and then tell me I'm all good .-. Then for the rest of the night I had to finish homework and all that fun crap. Well here's the item for today, then the item for yesterday.

So I have a new username. I used to be saramo1926, then I was foreversaramo1926, and now I'm Saranade. Why the username change? I was tired of saramo. Saramo signifies my old AJ life, but my AJ life now is much different, so I thought I should get a new username to go along with it ^_^ Stupid, maybe. But its what I wanted, so shush. 

Why Saranade? Okay so you know the word serenade?

Yesterday's item was the "lovely" Horseshoe Set. Pretty cool, but hardly anyone plays anymore. You can still find some old sets in parks sometimes, but not with horseshoes. 

This item is selling for 250 gems and can also be found in the Jam Mart Furniture store, which is also accessible by den.

Heehe. ^_^  Okay so first it was the Croquet set, then the Bean Bag Toss and the Horseshoe Set? Those sound like summer games, like you'd play at a fair or something.. probably not Croquet but you get the gist. Do you think they could be hinting at Summer Carnival Festival possibilities? Or maybe that its coming soon?

Hiya guys! Saramo here. HAPPY TUESDAY. Alrightie, none of my spontaneous banter today, just getting right to the point.. Here's the item for today.. 

AMAZINGGG ITEM TODAY, THE PINWHEEL :D :D :D XD C=  Yay. Well today's item is surely festive, though I think of it more as a holiday-ish item. Not just a random April item.. .-. Like the  4th of July, or something like that. Summery.

Oh yuh, there's this notification from our friends at AJHQ, reminding jammers that today is the last day to send in their News Crew articles. Did you enter? 

Did I? Bah. I laugh. No. I barely have time for posting as it is, of course I'm not going to enter! But you can! (: 

Alrightie. One last thing.

I don't understand how people get scammed. Could you help me to understand? 

I understand hacking, someone hacks your account, steals your stuff, kabam, you've got nothing. But what about scamming? I've never been scammed, I've seen people say that other people are scammers, I know the general way of scamming, but how do people get scammed? Wouldn't you have to be stupid to get scammed? No offense to those of you who have been scammed, I'm trying to explain this from my point of view. 

So from what I understand, scammers say things like:

"Send me items and I'll wear them!" 

Some people say they've been scammed from flash trading -3- No. Flash trading isn't really scamming. YOU flashed them first, they accepted. They didn't do anything wrong. If its supposedly a "trade back" flash trading party, there's no guarantee that they'll trade back. No law that says they have to. If they want to keep the item, not trade back, they're just being unfair. But you were the one who traded them first.. I don't call that scamming. Do you?  

And when people say to send them stuff, you're the one sending them stuff, they're not forcing you to. 

I think people are confused as scammers, when really you're just being unreasonable. I'm sorry to those of you who disagree, but this is my opinion. Express yours if you'd like in the comments, but I'm not looking for a fight.. -o- 

But really, your the one who traded them/sent it to them first.. There's no obligation to give it back. 

Are there other ways? Tricking you, yes, but shouldn't you be able to sense it? Yes, they can be clever about it, but isn't it pretty distinct if someone is a scammer? 

Comment what your thoughts on scamming are..

Rare Flower Glasses

Hey guys! Saramo here, well yeah. So first off, I changed my AJ username from foreversaramo1926 to an unknown name at the moment. When I find out my new username I'll mention it ^_^ Alrightie, let's see what the Monday Rare is for today, eh? 

                            ** SIDE NOTE- The rainbow has gone on vacation, when it will return is still unplanned. Sorry! **

.... Well the "rare" for today are the Rare Flower Glasses, sold in the Jam Mart Furniture store. The colors are O.K.....*cricket noises* Yeah that's pretty much all I have on that. They don't look much better than the original Flower Glasses, but nice attempt, AJHQ! 

It isn't priced very well either. 675 gems for this? I don't think so.  How often do you see jammers wearing Flower Glasses? Yeah. Just about never .-. 

Lemme see if I can find a few jammers wearing it.. 

One jammer. Well here they are on a raccoon O3o

There are also a few clothing items on clearance.. 

Looks like the pirate attire will be leaving soon.. Wonder why? 

The lovely Lion Hat is also on clearance.

So I was in Jamaa today, dawdling around, when I saw I had blocked a jammer.. Ya know, when they have that Xed-out red circle thing where their badge should be? Do you ever just see people around that you blocked, but you don't even remember why you blocked them? This happens to me a lot xD Today I found goulou for reasons I can't even explain.. Does this ever happen to you? Sometimes I block people that I can't add, or they can't add me, so if I see them again I'll know. 

So yeah ^_^ Yesterday I found a glitch, which I also mentioned yesterday, but I might as well mention it again.

So when you go to the AJ homepage, and accidentally type in your password/username or both wrong, it takes you to the page titled "Animal Jam - Signin" Well when it takes you there, it shows up in a different language! O_O Mine keeps showing up in German -0- Does this happen to you, or is it just me? 

And yes, that's German. The rest of the page is also in German. Like the page headings and sign-in. 

ERrm what else is there.. 

Oh yeah, I'm looking for a somewhat-permanent look for my wolf, Infinity Spiritcloud so here are a few of my options. Vote below (:

Hood With Feather, Rope

Hey here are the items I've missed. This will probably be the quickest post yet, but I'm really short on time. I might take a break from blogging until summer starts.. I don't know yet. ANyways, here's the item for today, then the items I missed.. 

Alright I think this is the item for today... Not sure though :P Sorry for my sucky posts lately and my lack of posting.. I'm seriously considering not blogging until summer. Or at least until summer break starts.. I might just post on update days.. We'll see. Well this is the rope. Hah, have you ever noticed what I save my screenshots as? Like the image names? This one is a 123 what could it be a ROPE.jpg xD They're usually irrelevant to the screenshot.. Bahha. Okay, here's the next item I missed.. 

Not sure which day this item was new on, but its a pretty cool item. Too bad its for members >_< Jammers can find this item in Epic Wonders in the green clothing orb. ( at the top of the staircase) I think most jammers thought of Robin Hood when they saw this item. Ya know, the fox/thing who stole from the rich and gave to the poor? I'm not sure where they're going with it, but its still a neat item. Too bad its a little expensive, but not too bad. 

Alright I think I'm caught up now. 

On a side note, I noticed a buddy of mine had some sidekix plushies? in their den, and they're wayyy bigger than I thought O_o They're pretty cool though, if I do say so myself.

One more thing, have you noticed the strange battle-like descriptions on the Tool-Tips? What do you think AJHQ has planned for us jammers? Have you noticed this on any other items? I think it might have something to do with the Spirit clothing, but I don't know.

Troughs

Hey guys, Sarmayo here today (; Who the heck is that? Why, don'tcha know? Its sara-mo! Bahah. Okay. Enough cheesiness. Let's see whats up in Jamaa today.. 

As you can hopefully see, today's item is the returning Trough. The trough is 400 gems! That's tough. xD Haha. More cheesiness. Well unfortunately this item is for members only, though it can be found in the Jam Mart Furniture store.

There are at least three kinds, brownish water, clear water, and I think one is only half full..? *not positive* 

Oh and if you click on it, it pumps water. (I think..) 

So yesterday was the arrival of the Spirit Helmets, and I didn't show a very good view of them. So, here's a better view of them along with the Spirit Armor :3 

Oh my gosh so I got contacts, like two days ago, and I'm not really used to it yet.. Right now my reflexes are reacting really strongly when I try to put it in my eye, so it takes a while each time I take them in and out >:l Then if you don't use enough solution and the contact dries out before you can put it in, (solution is like a liquid that cleans your contacts and washes them off.) so it feels weird on your eye, because you put it in dry .-. And I keep forgetting to blink, so my eyes are getting dry too =-= I guess it takes time.. Bah. Then I have astigmatism in one eye.. O3o Bah. 

Alright here's my NEW theory on Sky High... 

!CAUTION! BELOW IS AN ASSUMPTION, A THEORY, NOT A TRUE AND PROVEN FACT. BAHAA. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED. 

Kay so when you go to play Sky High, this pops up. The game introduction, if you will. So you see the phantoms, the gush of wind/dust, and then, in the center, the panda. Hm. 

My theory: Pandas are the KEY. 

WTC does that mean? WEll, my theory means that you should play as a panda, you'll have better odds. 

As the warning states, I'm just guessing. But when I first won and played as a panda, I got a turkey hat. That's much better than what I've been getting. Like moon necklaces and knee armor -3- 

Now I'm not saying this will work, just saying its a possibility...

Photo Booth & Sunflowers

Well ello there chaps! TODAY IS THURSDAY.. What the heck does that mean? It means there's a new update, smarty. Let's start off with the Jamaa Journal.. (Again, no color.. sorry! The rainbow went on vacation.) 

The front page is mentioning the opening to the Photo Booths, along with what else will be mentioned. 

On pagina numero dos, they're talking about two topics. 

The left topic is an additional monthly member gift, the Spirit Helmet. 

On the right is the Photo Booth. I guess you can use them on the Computers? (the AJ item) 

Page 3 is centered on the departure of the koalas. Well, our furry-bummed friends have gone, but jammers can still be the koalas they have! I don't know when they'll be returning, I don't even know if AJHQ does, but hopefully they'll bring a new land back with them! (not meant to be taken literally.. xD)

Page 4, on the left, is about jokes in Jammer Central, resulting from Graham's joke contest. That should be interesting..

On the right is the topic of Earth Day, which is on April 22nd. There are special banners for Earth Day around Jamaa to learn more about it. 

On the fifth and final page are the Sidekix plushes, available in both real life and in the game. Jammers can buy them through AJ Outfitters, I do believe 83 

Alright, let's explore this Photo Booth, shall we? 

Now I went to the one in Sarepia Forest, in the Theater Lobby, but.. 

There's also one in Club Geoz. 

Well in the Lobby, ya walk up the "fancy" purple carpet, which are leading to the Photo Booth itself. You don't actually go in it, it just gets highlighted in white when you click on it.. Sort of like a game, or when you go to draw in the Art Studio. 

When you click on the photo booth, you'll see something relatively close to this. Here you have the option to change your animals look, change the words or have no words, change your position, change the background, and save the image. (actually to your computer) 

It sort of reminds me of Best Dressed >:P Right now there are only three settings and not many text options, but I'm sure that won't last long. Next to the change position button, there's a gray button, it looks like for changing your animal.. Wonder why its unusable? Each Photo comes at a price of 50 gems. I guess that's reasonable. 

Here's mine ^_^ (first one) I like the shape of the wolves better this way. They look.. more realistic I guess. I mean, as realistic as you can get using pixels..

What do you think of the new Photo Booths? 

Here's the new item for today, the returning item, Sunflowers. 

Jammers can buy this item for 150 gems in the Jam Mart Furniture store. This item is members only >_< It goes along with the barn den as well as the Pitch Fork and Hay Bale, but it doesn't look out of place if you don't have it in a barn den.

There's also a delay in trading. You have to wait a few seconds longer to have the option of accepting or declining. This is slightly annoying but will probably help with flash trading and other scams of the sort.. :P 

Well that's all I have time for.. Oh and Vei, you will need to be killed O_O Sorry. Pablo haters must be taken care of immediately.. XD Jk. I'll try to make a better mascot soon... :U
