Update

Hey jammers! So.. I said I was going to have a contest.. WELL... I didn't get any entries :( So I guess that means I'll be quitting the blog sooner than I thought. So, I've loved posting on here. I met some amazing people from AJ, I've had great times posting on here, but I've never really had many views, making my blog less successful as I'd like it to be. That, and my schedule getting busier and less time in the school year is most of the reasons why I'm quitting. And, there is that factor of age, in which I am getting older, and the interest just isn't there anymore.


I'll miss posting, yes, but its easiest for me if I quit now, then I won't feel bad about my lack of posting, because I wouldn't be able to post most days.


So thank you at least a years worth of wonderful blogging, but its time I say goodbye,



for the very last time, Saramo.

Quitting Contest

Hey guys, Saramo here. So I've decided to do a contest before I leave, but considering I don't get many views, there probably won't be too many people in it. 

Since I'm looking to quit this blog, its going to be an easy contest, one that won't take much time deliberating a winner, blah blah blah. What I mean, this type of contest isn't as time consuming as others seem to be. 

Sorry for those of you who wanted a different type of contest, I'll be having an art contest.

2.) Nothing including guts, oodles of blood, that stuff. .-.

Yep! That's how easy this is going to be. 

Now it doesn't matter if you really can't draw. I'm not going to get many entries anyways.

Quitting

Hey guys, Saramo here. Well.. I think the title of this post pretty much gives it away. I'm quitting this blog. I know, I know. I'm finally getting more views and now I'm going to quit. Well.. I haven't been posting consistently, because I've been enjoying my summer. 

I'll just have less time when school starts. I think its best for me that I quit this blog. I'm sorry, but its what I have to do. I'm not sure if I'll do the contest, maybe just a drawing one or something. Those seem to be easier.. 

Comment if you'd like a contest before I quit... 
If I don't get comments I'll take down the blog anyways. 

I've loved posting, and I've had quite a fun time doing it. It was fun at first, but I haven't really had great views and it seemed like a waste of time, and I lost interest. 

There are a ton of other blogs that post the daily item, anyways, right? 

I just don't see a reason to continue posting on this blog. But thank you to those who have viewed my blog and have commented and enjoyed it. My blogging experience on this blog was beyond words, and I will miss it. 

I just won't miss it enough to want to blog again.. (on here)

No, I am not quitting Animal Jam or blogging, I'm just quitting this blog. 

I will continue to post on my other blogs.

Well i'm back now, ready to post for all ya'll! I know I've missed a lot, but I'm not going to go back and post about them, nope, just looking forward.. I'm going to post new things, not what I missed. Yes yes?

Some of you may not have read my posts about just why I left, so I'll say so now..

Ya see, at the end of the school year, the last month, to be precise, is a very, very busy time of the year. Teachers seem to be giving you MORE homework than usual, more notes to take, more tests to review for, more finals to study for, more finals to take, and LESS time! So.. I decided that it was best for my, ah, education, to stop blogging until summer. Well.. IT'S SUMMER!!!!!! For me, at least. 

Now, some of you may have been confused on my username.. 

FIRST. I was saramo1926.

Then a misunderstanding happened, and I thought I was going to be hacked/scammed/banned, so I decided to switch users.

Well.. I'd been saramo for quite some time, all of my Aj life, that is :P But.. Saramo seemed.. dull. Not fitting anymore. I was saramo when I had a very different AJ lifestyle, I did different things. Saramo was a symbol of the friends I used to have, what I used to do, but I no longer have or do. 

So I decided to email AJHQ and have them change my username.

NOW I'm Saranade. <_< That's my username.

I am currently a member, for a few months anyways, so I can post more efficiently. 


Alright, ONTO today's item.. The Crystal Cosmo Statue! 

To accompany the Liza, Peck, Sir Gilbert, Greely, and Graham statues. This item is currently being sold for 3,000 gems, a little high, but the statues are pretty cool, and they're all equally priced. *the statues* Jammers can find this item in Epic Wonders, the darker blue orb to be exact.

Hm. AJHQ's color scheme for the RIM items are usually purple with some blue incorporated. Or purple with some blue. Darker colors. They have been for awhile, going on a streak, you could say.

Finger-Arm Glitch

Hey guys! Just a little tidbit post, not any daily items or anything. So today I was frolicking around as my koala, right? So I started dancing. Look closely at my left arm.. (the arm without the boxing glove xD)

O-O It looks  like I have FREAKING FINGERS growing out of my arm!!! Um, what. I'm pretty sure I didn't have any finger transplants or surgery done to my arm.. That I was aware of.. :U 

So I asked another koala to dance to see if it wasn't just me. My results.. 

If you look closely, its happening on Darling, too, but her fur color isn't bright enough to make it stand out. The finger-arms kind of look like toothbrush bristles too... O_o I AIN'T A DENTIST. 

So yeah. Just wanted to share that little.. odd.. glitch.

Lesson of the Day

Hello my lovelies (: Saramo/Saranade here ^_^ Well today I'm posting because I have a topic, not because of an item.. Sorry! (Spoiler, today's item is CORN) Well anyways.. Here's my advertisement :3

Hey you! Yes you! With the nostrils! Have you ever been playing online computer site web ANIMAL JAM? Ha ha ha! *odd chuckle* Why of course you have! Have you ever ran out of space for NEW and not really IMPROVED items in your CLOTHING and DEN slots? Well Super Peppy Advertisements Incorporated has just the thing for you! 


Hahah. There's my advertising.. Well anyways, I know this has happened to some of you, if not all of you. (those of you who're reading this) You've reached your limit on clothing items and den items! 

But what could you do? Ah ha! Here are a few ways to rid yourself of items that you don't need without recycling them, if your looking for a more interesting and generous way to get rid of crap.

1.) Go to Jamaa or any other busy land. Dress crazy, or how you are. Doesn't matter. Now, start dancing or hopping or playing, whatever. *motion attracts attention* Then, scream, as in use CAPS LOCK and say,"IF YOU CAN GUESS THE SONG YOU GET A PRIZE!!" Add a smiley face, make them love you. 

Now, pick a few songs, that are exceptionally appropriate for AJ. Pick one to start with. Start typing in the lyrics of the song. While your saying the lyrics, the people participating are to guess the artist/the song title. Whoever wins, send them a gift you don't want or trade with them if they're a nonmember. See? They won't care that they get sucky stuff because of the enjoyment. Its a fun way to get rid of stuff and your giving away things you might see as trash, but someone else might see as slightly better trash. 

2.) Go to Jamaa Township/busy area. Click on random people. (if you want to be mean, you can do this with nm's too) Click on members, RANDOM members. Send them a wacky Jam-a-Gram like "Happy Birthday" or "Birth of a Croc!" Then, add a gift. Anything you want to get rid of. Just send it to them! 

Use these strategies to get rid of your junk and you'll be favored by all people! * Only applies if you have fluffy feet and curly mustaches* 

Well I hoped this helped somewhat. I hope you find these ways of gifting and getting rid of much funner and nicer than just recycling stuff.

Hey jammers! Happy Thursday! *cough* Update. *cough.* today. *coughh* Alrighty, let's dive right in! First off I'll be starting with the Jamaa Journal.. 

First page is announcing the new party, Jam Session! Hm..

They usually have a reason for taking them away.. Maybe to add more rarity to them? So room for new animals can be made?

Recycling Can

Hey jammers! Saramo here! My typing may be a little off today... See last night I was trying to open something, a bag of Reese's for my lil' sister I think, and I couldn't get it open. Soo.. I grabbed my very sharp new pocket knife to open it. (don't worry, I don't go around stabbing people O_O) Well I held the packet thingy and I PLUNGED muh pocket knife through it. Did I open the candy? I SURE DID! But.. When I PLUNGED the pocket knife through, I cut my finger on the other side >_< The cut isn't that deep, but it hurts a lot.. :( So I wrapped my finger in gauze and now it looks like I stucka marshmallow to it. It stopped throbbing but the tip of my finger is now purple.. xD Thus, I cannot type very well with marshmallow fingers. Anyways, here's the new and NONMEMBER item for today! 

Isn't it just lovely? Hahah. Well here's the lovely Recycling Can, selling for 300 gems and in the Jam Mart Furniture store. Where I am though, we call them recycling bins, not cans. It means the same, though. And ours are green. Still, I really like this item. Its pretty small though.. 

That was my first reaction to it in a den.. x3

It'd be cool if someone had a den full of these ^_^ That would seriously promote recycling.. on AJ of course (: 

Yeah, I'm pretty sure this item is interlinked with Earth Day. Sure, its a day late, but maybe they're taking it to the next level? 

There are also a few den items on clearance..

EARTH DAY and Rare Winter Blanket

Hey jammers! Saramo here (: Today's post will be entirely in green, (for the font.) in honor of Earth Day! Yep, that's right! Today, April 22nd, is Earth Day! How are you going to celebrate Earth Day? If at all.. :U I'm not sure how I'm going to celebrate.. :P Well anyways, here's the item for yesterday, the Earth Day Banner. 

So this item came out yesterday... o_O Shouldn't it have come out today? Still, its a pretty cool item and its in the honor of Earth Day. It also has the old world on it from when AJ's pages would load. All jammers can buy this item for 250 gems and from the Jam Mart Furniture store. 

Also here's a post from the Daily Explorer that's inspired by Earth Day.. Its from a few days ago but I found it more interesting than the Eggshell plant and the magazine holder >_<

Lady bug rocks! Bahah. Well my family has been painting rocks for a few years now, and we paint pretty much anything on them. We use acrylic paint too, it seems to work pretty well on rocks.. But we use rocks from our landscaping.. xD Here are a few examples of rocks I've painted.. ;3 

Let's see.. I have a lady bug, an orange bunny thing, rainbow-ish rock, rock with my name on it, a Mike Wazowski rock, a mouse, a stick lady, a stick dude, eyes, and a tiny frog.. That's only a few (:

Then here's the item for today, Monday. 

Today's RIM rare is the Rare Winter Blanket, selling for 900 gems. I think that's a little pricey, since this item probably won't be very popular.. This item is members only and can be found in Mt. Shiveer, in the Hot Cocoa Hut. The store specifically is the Shiveer Shoppe.

Hey guys! Saramo here (: Happy SATURDAY! O_O THERE WAS A MAN IN MY YARD O-O Its a'ite. He's gone now. BUT THERE WAS A MAN IN MY YARD. He didn't steal any of our precious grass, thank goodness. I think he was from a lawn/mowing dealie company... BUT THERE WAS A UNKNOWN STRANGER MAN in MY YARD!!! :O Eep. Well here's the item for today.. 

YAYZERS. Today's item is a playground-ish themed-ish item, the TETHERBALL. Bahaha. I stink at tetherball xD

This item is being sold for 400 gems and can be found in the Jam Mart Furniture store, which is in Jamaa and also accessible by den.

Hahah. Took forever to find someone with it in their den, so I had to get on mojo's account .-. 

Here's a glitch I encountered yesterday too.. O3o

Most of my screen was highlighted in blue, except for a small part of it. It didn't go away when I clicked, but it did when I logged out. 

Then AJHQ sent out another notification yesterday, but I forgot to post it. 

Kay... I can't find it in my folders..

Well it went something like this:

"Does it sound too good to be true? Could it be a trick? Then use the trading system!" 

So sort of like a tip, like to watch out for scammers I guess. 

So obey "the man" and watch out for scamming! Use the trading system! We do have it for a reason ^_^/)(\^_^

Cool item, I think. Though I'm not sure why they would put an item in stores that suggests weddings... Aren't weddings considered "inappropriate" for AJ? Not that people really pay attention to that..  Oh well. Still a pretty cool item. Maybe a wedding dress next? That might be pushing the limit of humanistic items.... Well member jammers >_< can purchase this item in Epic Wonders in the clothing orb. (the greener one.) This item is currently being sold for 1,750 gems.
