Last February Update for 2013

Hi guys! Saramo here! Happy Thursday! Well today there's a lot going on, so let's hop to it! xD I'm going to start off with the Jamaa Journal.. 

Raccoons have arrived! Finally O-o Unfortunately, these adorable creatures are only available to members Dx Hopefully they'll eventually become non-member.. but I sadly doubt it. 

This page is announcing the remodel in Brady Barr's lab, which is in the Lost Temple of Zios. There are also new videos, which I'll get to soon. 

Arctic wolves will be the monthly member gift for March. I love arctic wolves, but I'm getting a little tired of pets being the gift for each month. I liked it better when they gave out unique items Dx The other half is just a reminder about the new party, the Paradise Party. 

This page is announcing Lucky Day and the Lucky party. Also known as St. Patrick's Day, its an Irish holiday, but its celebrated in America too. Probably other countries, just not that I'm aware of. 

Finally, the winner to Cosmo's hat contest. The winner is Mighty Spiritwolf, with the design of the Eagle Hat. Congratulations Mighty! Your hat was truly creative and fits well with the new bird themes going on. The other side talks about raccoon plushies and toys now available in certain games. That's all for the Jamaa Journal. Here's how they look when you first get them.. 

O_O They're even cuter than I thought they would be :O Here are the actions, though I can't show a video, just a series of screenshots.. I'll do my best..

They start standing up, sort of clutching their stomach ;3 

Then they fall back, sort of rocking back and forth. After that they stand up and it starts again.. I think its supposed to be them laughing, then rolling on the floor since they were laughing so hard. A.k.a. ROFLing xD

Now let's see see what's up with Brady Barr.. 

Here's the lab, not too much of a difference, just a few small things. What's circled in red is either where a video or a fact is, or where something is changed/new. 

Above is the entrance to the new theater. 

Here's the theater, which they named "Brady's Theather", how creative :V I do like the overall look of it though, its pretty cool. I like the shrunken tables and the snake rugs to sit on (not sure what they're called) 

Here are a few of the videos, feel free to browse them yourself. There's also a button to submit questions to Brady Barr. Oh yeah, I wanna ask some dude a question like "Have you ever been spit on by a camel?" or something like that. Maybe you can come up with better questions. I won't be asking any, but it could be useful to others! I also like the little gecko in the bottom right-hand corner :3 

Here Jamaa has been greenified x3 Bye winter Jamaa! Very.. leafy.

Here are some new items: 

Here are some new raccoon items, the Raccoon Topiary and Raccoon Banner. Isn't it usually the banner that's non-member, not the topiary? I'm certainly not complaining, just curious. I'm glad that we finally get a topiary xD These items are found in the Conservation Museum, which is in Appondale.

Here's the Eagle Hat, available to everyone for 500 gems in the Jam Mart Clothing store. I like this item ;3 It makes wolves look like birds ^_^ Yeah.. I need more gems.. It comes in 8 colors total. Wow, that was a long update. I think that's all..

Well the Friendship Party has gone, so I'm assuming the Lucky Party will be starting soon. I'll be updating the look of the blog to fit with spring soon, so I'd love feedback on how it looks once I change it! Enjoy raccoons, if you can, and everything else new that has come to Jamaa!

Bird Poop: AJ's Mysterious Obsession With It

Hey guys! Saramo here! Happy Wednesday! No. I've actually had an awful day. In math my teacher dragged on a question and was wording it weird so I didn't really get it, but I did, just not the way she was saying it, and she made me look like an idiot >_< I knew what she meant, but she dragged it on. She never calls on me. So when I'm not paying attention she chooses to call on me. Of course. Ehh.. I guess that's the only bad part of my day, so I guess it really wasn't an awful day. I just felt stupid. Please excuse me, I have a habit of rambling. Anyways.. It's an interesting item today.. You might want to shield your eyes, this item is truly magnificent... Yeah, right. 

Behold, Bird Poop. Uhmm.. I'm at a loss for words with this item.. Well it's sold in the store at the Paradise Party. This item is available to members for 350 gems. Huh. Poop is more expensive than banners and pillows X_X Get real AJ. No one wants to buy poop for 350 gems. They will though, since its an awesome item. I know, I complain, and then I say I actually like the item.
*sigh*
What're ya gunna do with me? xD

I like this item better than the Reindeer Poop, not sure why, maybe its less disgusting, something like that. Well the Bird Poop comes in four different types, here are the assorted types of bird poop..  

Yeah.. not really. The third one is the most disturbing. The second and last ones look like they have faces embedded in the poop Dx Yuck. The good thing is that you can put them almost anywhere! On walls, floors, you name it! To see the poop in action, go to Lonelycore's den.

Well the update is (most likely) tomorrow! Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure the raccoons will be for members only. I guess we'll see though. The Friendship Festival will probably be ending or be over by the time the update comes. Well that's all for today jammers!

Paradise Banner

Hey guys! Saramo here! Thanks for all the comments yesterday! I usually get none, so it was nice seeing some comments (: Keep it up? Well anyways, here's whats new in Jamaa today... 

As  you could probably guess from the title, today's newest item is the Paradise Banner, found in the store at the Paradise Party. This item is available for 300 gems, members only. Strangely a banner is the same price as a pillow.. You'd think a pillow/mat would be cheaper :l The banner is okay, not my favorite item, and it matches the overall theme of the party. I think the icon thing on the pillow and on the banner is a feather or something bird-ish. Here's the item in a den. 

Its actually pretty small.. in my opinion. I thought it would be bigger than it is. Even the nonmember Fantasy Banners are bigger and are only 50 gems more. Oh well. I think that's all for new items.

Whose excited for the raccoons? Only two more days, I think.. :3 Or its next week. I'm still not 100% sure. I guess we'll find out ^_^

I also noticed while looking at other jammer's blogs that they mentioned the Seasonal Tree starting to bud. Scroll or glide with your fingers to view thee tree. 

I know its hard to see, but if you squint you can see little green dots, indicating that leaves will be coming soon.

Rare Astronaut Helmet

Hey guys! Saramo here. Happy Monday! YEAH! No. More like.. Eh blargh, its Monday -_- Well enough of the chit-chat :3 Here's whuzzup in Jamaa today.. 

Here's the RIM for today, the Rare Astronaut Helmet. It took me awhile to figure out and remember how to spell astronaut in fourth grade :V No worries, I can easily spell astronaut today! xD Ew did I just say no worries? My insanely peppy English teacher always says no worries O_o Rambling.. This item is sold for a whopping 800 gems in the Jam Mart Clothing store and can be found on the second page, bottom right hand corner. I had to play some games before I could buy it, as I am veeeeryyyy  bad at saving gems/money/whatever ;3  Here's the helmet on a few animals. 

On a rhino ^_^ Astro Rhino.. xD I just saw this person while I was playing Falling Phantoms.. No one in particular..

On a snow leopard.. It looks more like its stuck on there, like it's not meant to be on there. Just muh opinion >_<

On a wolf. It looks O.K. on the wolf. I don't think it really matters what animal the helmet is on, its just not a very pretty item in general. 

Lol uhmm.. I sort of messed up on the blur.. Okay, I TOTALLY messed up the blur.. xD Whoops. So yeah, here's the helmet on a fox. You get the idea. I think that's all for today.. ^^_^^ Oh yuss I changed my profile picture... it 'tis if you wanna see it and haven't already..

Underwater HDTV

Hi guys :3 Saramo here. I'm on Mojo's account ^_^ Let's cut the small talk and get straight to the point, since I have some stuff I need to do. Here's whats new in Jamaa today.. 

The newest item in stores, the Underwater HDTV. This item can be found in Sunken Treasures, members only, for 850 gems. Going a little far with the "HDTV" but I guess its okay since the design is still somewhat animalistic. <--- Not a word xD So yeah. I haven't actually been on AJ today, so I don't know if anything else is new.

So I've been doing some online coloring on drawings where I upload photos we've already drawn and color them in using our paint program. So I did one for my sister today, here's the original drawing. 

Sorry, our computer uploads it sideways :V  So yeah. This is her original drawing of a cat-wolf. I'm not 100% sure. 

Here's her drawing after I added color to it. The colors are custom and colored the way she wanted it. It looks better when it isn't sideways.. So yeah. They take awhile but the results are pretty good :) Sorry for the short post, gotta go do homework and such.
Finding Bigfoot is on tonight too :3

Paradise Mat

Hey guys! Saramo here. Sorry for the late post, today's been a little hectic. Well let's see what's going on in Jamaa today, shall we? 

 Here's the newest item in the Paradise Party, the Paradise Mat. This item is available to everyone for 300 gems. I actually really like this item, besides the fact that it isn't very creative or original..
There just happened to be a party when I logged on so I could buy some :3 On the mat it sort of looks like someone was sitting there and when they got up they left a butt print.. O-o Just my opinion..

Comment your entry! Just the weirdest thing you heard in Jamaa!  So Kinyonga's having a contest, a drawing contest that is. Your allowed to enter three drawings, so here's one of mine. I drew the drawing first, then I took a picture of it. I uploaded the picture onto our computer and I used our Paint program to add color to it. I hope this still counts as a drawing, since all I did was color it in.. Anyways, here it is!   

D: ITS SIDEWAYS. Darn you computer X_X Oh well. So this is one of my made up warriors, Sorroweyes. I just added some color to her, and I know that her fur wouldn't have naturally green stripes :V Here's the drawing without the color.. 

It's a little hard to see, but its the same as the drawing above, just without color. Which should I enter? The colored one or the un-colored one? You may have noticed that I added some color to the post today. Yay or nay? Well that's all I have time for jammers.

Underwater Sand Castle

Hey guys! Saramo here. As usual.. So we got a bunch of snow, well not that much, but enough for us to have a snow day again. So here are a few pictures of some of the snow we got C; 

So yeah. Sorry that the pictures are kind of.. terrible. I took them through doors and windows in our house. I'm going outside later, so I'll try to take better ones then. Alright, onto whats in Jamaa today... 

The Sand Castle is the newest item in Sunken Treasures, the underwater store for den items. This item is available for 500 gems, members only. I'm not a big fan of underwater stuff, but this looks like a pretty cool den item. So yeah. I think that's all that's new.

So I said I was going to have a party for 2,000 views or something. Well I never got around to arranging that, and I almost have 4,000 views. So... I'll either have a party or contest (or both) at 4,000 views or at 5,000 views.

I'm also going to do a "Jammer Said What?!" where I mention the weirdest thing I heard/saw a jammer say in Jamaa or in any other land. And then you can comment the weirdest thing you heard in jamaa. The only rule is that it has to be appropriate.
