Longboards

Hey jammers! Saramo here! Today's March 31st, the LAST day of March! That means members will be getting their monthly member gifts tomorrow! Oh and sorry for the late post.  As you probably know, today is Easter! :) I've been busy doing Easter-family-related stuff. Well I have the time to post now, so I am! Here's the item for today.. 

As the title has given away, today's item is the Longboard. Looks like a descendant of the skateboard..? This item is selling for 450 gems, members only. Jammers can find this item in the Jam Mart Furniture store. Here's the item in a den.. 

Sorry the view of the Longboard is a little obstructed, muh koala's on it >:) What do you think of the item? I actually like it a lot, though I think I'd like it better if you could position it against a wall or maybe if it moved ^_^ 

So yesterday I posted on koalas. I did make a den specialized for koalas only. Pretty much just a place for koalas to get together and, well, be koalas! Its also a place to support koalas and the koala alpha, Cosmo. I'm still working on it.. I'd love your input also, I really don't know much about koalas and I'm much too lazy to do any research, so I'm not sure what I should include in the den.

Well today it seems that the April Fools Party has started so here are the party details..

The banner for the party.. 

Here's where you enter the party. 

Then if you go into the upside down castle, you'll find some upside down decorations and festivities. You can also click on the shakes to have a shake icon with your animal. But when you click on the shakes, it shows up as cake! :3 

Then if you go down some steps you'll find some beach towels and kiddie pools, along with a sand castle. There's a little concession stand with the sign "Sale" on it, but the joke's on us, there's nothing there!

If you go down some more you'll find some games and some donuts. The donuts are actually shakes though... Then if you click on a game, Sky High for example, a different game will show up, like Spider Zapper. Where's the items for sale at the party? You may be wondering. Well, just look down! Or up..?

Here's where you can buy some den items. In the sky.. O_o

 Members can buy the Upside Down Table and the Upside Down Window.  Nonmembers can buy the Upside Down Plant. Notice that all the prices are uneven and with weird numbers like 123 and 432 :V

Then here's the upper level. Consisting of phantoms, shark fins, and balloons.. and scary fences :P 

So yeah, I think I covered most of the party. So the shakes are really cakes, donuts are really shakes and cakes are really donuts. You can also get a lot of weird stamps from random parties.. Like these...

You get the idea ^_^ So yeah. What do you think of the April Fools' Party? It is a little deceiving, but I think it adds to the fun :3

Support Koalas

Hey jammers! Saramo here with my second post of the day! This post isn't about an item, a glitch, or some random yet amazing time I had on AJ.  And I'm not adding color this time. (Its a lot of work!) No, this post will be about supporting koalas, the furry, tree-hugging animals from Appondale. You probably already know, but koalas will soon be leaving Jamaa, on April 11th, with the koala alpha, Cosmo, to find us jammers a new land. 

I know, koalas aren't the most liked animal in AJ, probably one of the least favorite of most jammers. Today though, I noticed a lot more jammers had koalas. So I bought one myself. They really are pretty cool animals. So I was in Jamaa, and a koala next to me, dance1023, was dancing, saying things like "Be a koala and dance to show jammers how important they are!" That inspired me to post about koalas. 

Koalas were one of the first animals on Animal Jam. People didn't really notice koalas until now. Sure, a few jammers here and there had a koala, but you didn't see them as often as wolves or bunnies. 

My point is, you should become a koala and support them on their journey to bring us a new land. 

I'm working with a few fellow koala friends to establish a Koala Organization XD 

So after dance1023, said to dance to support koalas, I of course had to join in. Here are a few ideas of what we were doing...

I don't know how inspiring that was, but I hope you were somewhat inspired to take part in supporting koalas!

Baseball Cap and Cleats

Hey jammers! Sorry for not posting yesterday, I was a little busy and I didn't really feel like it. So first off I'll be showing you the item for yesterday that I missed.. 

First up are the Baseball Cleats, selling for 400 gems, members only. Jammers can find this item in the Jam Mart Clothing store. Aren't there soccer cleats too? I used to play soccer and I wore cleats so.. :P So yeah. What do you guys think of the new footwear? Here are the Cleats on a few animals.. 

O_O Yikes.. Well here they are on a wolf.. (I'm on Mojo's account.. Shh.. xD)

They look a little better on foxes..

No offense other AJ animals, but I think they look the best on Arctic Wolves..

Are you all excited for Easter? *Those of you who celebrate it!*

Tonight we'll be coloring Easter eggs :) Then in the morning "the Easter Bunny" hides Easter eggs all over the house and we, my two sisters and I, go around looking for eggs to see who can get the most! I always win, of course xD  In other words, a scavenger hunt. Then we usually go to church Easter morning because my grandma likes to go. We aren't very religious so we usually only go on holidays.. :P After church we usually do a scavenger hunt outside and have some neighbor kids come up and one of us hides them :3 

What do you do for Easter?

P.S... 

I decided to get a koala today, before they all set out on their long and possibly life-ending journey. 

They just ooze cuteness! Here's mine.. 

I had to get rid of Fabulous Loudlady to get Pioneer Magiclady.. *Fab was meh bunny* But I guess its worth it. Koalas are pretty AWESUM. Like Buddy says from Cake Bawse xD My new animals almost always end in "Lady". I'm so cute, tryin' to destroy a fountain.. <3 Heehh. 

I asked it if I was the best puncher-of-stuffins ever.. I got an unsure response. I asked since gloves on koalas look like those mitt things boxers wear.. HEHEH.

  

Thursday Update 3/28/13

Hey jammers! Saramo here! Sorry for yesterday's post.. I don't know what the heck happened O_O I'm not going to mess with alignment today, just in case. Well today's a big update so let's get started! 

Here's the first page of the Jamaa Journal ^_^ This page is mostly about how ANIMAL JAM has reached 10 million views!

Here's the second page. On the left side, its talking about the Spring Egg Hunt, where jammers search for eight egg symbols around Jamaa and receive a prize! I'll get to that later on.

On the left is the monthly member gift for April, the Spirit Armor! I think it looks really cool O_o I think I'll be getting my membership back for April.. Thank goodness it isn't a pet! Dx

I'm going to start with the Jamaa Journal, if you don't mind :) Its mostly about how Animal Jam has reached 10,000,000 jammers! :O! That's a lot of jammers. You can also use a new code in honor of the achievement. Put in 10million in the code bar to get a cool prize!

This page, the third page, is about how all games in Jamaa now have double the gems! Wow. I'll definitely be playing some games.. This lasts for TWO WHOLE WEEKS! Thank you AJ <3 

 

This page is about how koalas will soon be leaving Jamaa. This happened awhile ago with monkeys.. :U I wonder what AJHQ's   real reason for it is. They say that Cosmo will be going to see if he can find a new land and he needs all of the koalas to go with him. Koalas will be leaving on April 11th. So on the next update, I believe.

The fifth page, on the left, is about how the April Fools' Party is returning! This is one of the most.. interesting.. parties in AJ xD I can't wait for its return! (: 

On the right side, its mentioning a new contest! This contest is supposedly being held by Graham and he wants jammers to send in their best jokes! .-. I have no good jokes that are AJ appropriate.. ^_^ Oh well. All entries can be submitted through Jammer Central and are due on April 3rd. 

O-O I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY LEAVE US WITH SUCH A CLIFF HANGER DX I'm realllllllllyyyy curious on what AJ's idea of an "adventure" will be :3 What do you think they mean by it? This is the 6th and final page of the Jamaa Journal. 

Today's item is the same as yesterday's, but this one is for on land! Yep, today's item is the Surfboard and its selling for 450 gems, members only :V Its a cool item, but it seems more summer-y ^_^ Oh well, i'm certainly not complaining. Jammers can purchase this item in the Jam Mart Furniture store.

Yep, the Nest Of Eggs is the prize for this year's Spring Egg Hunt! I think I like it better than last year's which were these..

One last thing.. Don't you hate it when you have a good AJ friend that you've known for awhile, and then they suddenly start cussing and stuff and acting like someone else entirely? One of my friend's like that now.. :l It's like I don't even know her anymore D':

P.S. I'm pretty sure AJHQ fixed the non-member member animal glitch! :'( When I tried it the No thanks button wouldn't come up and the change your animals thing wouldn't go away! Do you think they saw my video? :( I'm sad now.
